A computer program “exists” in four states?
- as a process (when/how it do)
- as code (how its made)
- in transition from code to process (what it needs)
- as a product (what people say it is)
It’s a mess
Getting all these parts right, at least better than bad, is near impossible.
the only thing better than perfect is standardized
I tried to find source for the quote above.
But current day search engines are useless. It’s a powerful quote.
If you are a programmer and you programmed, you are good enough. If you used a program and got something done, the program is good enough.
I think Love is perfect.
I’m not sure you can love a thing, even less a computer program. Is a program even a thing?
